As part of the Boneyard Art Festival, WEFT will be hosting the art show "Chorus," & I will be the featured musician on the evening of Friday, April 7. The party will start at 6:00 PM & I will begin playing shortly afterward. Beginning at 8:00 PM, the music will be broadcast live on WEFT, on the Blues Live program, hosted by Bob Paleczny, for 30 to 45 minutes. It won't ALL be blues!
The station is located at 113 N. Market St. in downtown Champaign, please stop on by as part of your Boneyard travels. You may also tune in to WEFT at 90.1 FM, on the WEFT website at weft.org, or check out archived programs for up to two weeks at radiofreeamerica.com/station/weft.

On Sunday, September 25, I will get to be one of the opening acts (along with Jeff Arigo, John Coppess & Gloria Roubal) for Plainsong, the legendary group featuring Iain Matthews & Andy Roberts! The show will start at 5:00 PM & last until 9:30 & will take place at the Urbana-Champaign Independent Media Center (UCIMC) at 202 S. Broadway in Urbana (in the old post office building). It's gonna be pretty exciting, & quite an honor, opening for these guys!
I'll have the Tennessee edition of my CD Release Concert for Patterns of Blue at the beautiful Soona Songs studio located in the lovely home of the Soona Songs label CEO & CFO, Marilyn & Bill Duncan. Always gourmet food prepared by Marilyn too, with a friendly crowd & lively conversation before & after the show.
I'll be performing live on the radio on the WETS program Studio One, from Johnson City, TN, & hosted by Dave Carter. I'll be playing songs from the new CD, along with some old faves, plus chatting it up with Dave. The show is from 1:00 to 2:00 PM & can be listened to at 89.5 FM, as well as online at wets.org.
A fantastic full day of art & music at the UCIMC to help promote the Fall fundraising campaign for WEFT. I will be sharing the bill with a number of other musicians, including: The Jed Adam Band, Geoff Beran & the Mystery Van, Isaac Arms, King of the Coast, Justin Rondon, Paul & Gloria, NTR Prodity, CJ Run, Tyler Kimble, John Coppess, Mark Laughlin, Anne Clements & more!
